These industrial-grade Li-ion batteries surpass the limitations typically found in standard consumer-grade rechargeable Li-ion cells, such as a lifespan capped at 5 years or 500 full charge cycles, high yearly self-discharge rates (as much as 60%), a constrained operational temperature range (-20°C to 60°C), limited high-pulse delivery, and an inability to recharge under extreme temperatures.

Designed for longevity, HPC Series Li-ion batteries offer an operational life of up to 20 years and support 5,000 full recharge cycles. These batteries are adept at storing the high-current pulses needed for advanced two-way wireless communications and operate within an expanded temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, with the capability to withstand storage temperatures up to 90°C in harsh environmental conditions.
